Fun with my sisters

Camping Trip at McCall, Idaho

Dad and I left for McCall the day after the Family Reunion to camp at Ponderosa State Park. Wow, packing was so easy for just the two of us. We hiked, rode bikes, swam, visited with Aunt Mary's family and Aunt Pat's family, picked huckleberries and relaxed.
Look what crawled up Dad's arm while picking huckleberries!

Hiking to Goose Creek Falls

Dad and I hiked to Goose Creek Falls, a 4 mile round trip hike with a change of elevation of 700 feet. The falls were thunderous and a welcome change from the very dry August conditions.

Dad striking the "Spud" pose as the water swirls around him.
Dad relaxing in his hammock at our campsite at Ponderosa State Park. A cold, refreshing swim in Payette Lake after our hike to Goose Creek Falls.

Hiking to Louie Lake

Dad and I hiked to remote Louie Lake picking huckleberries along the way. Fish were jumping and the chipmunks were chattering as we sat on the boulders and looked at the beautiful lake and mountain.

Chip or Dale?

Look who we found on our hike.

Payette Lake

Dad, the Aquarius, loves the water.
Soaking up the sun, reading a magazine and watching Paul swim in the lake.
A new house and a new McCall tree. Dad carefully shovels out a beautiful pine.

Our New McCall Tree

Dad planted our new McCall tree in the side yard right outside the livingroom window. We hope to decorate it with Christmas lights during the holidays and enjoy its beauty as we sit around the fireplace.
